Rich Media Group began its journey in 1996 as Rich Video, a family-run business specialising in wedding videography and the transfer of home movies to digital formats. With a passion for storytelling and preserving memories, the company quickly established a strong reputation, filming over 50 weddings each year and capturing more than 700 weddings worldwide. Notably, Rich Video was involved in filming the wedding surprise for Gary Barlow, featured on Channel 5’s I Want That Wedding.

Founder Dave’s lifelong connection to film began with cine cameras, giving him a deep understanding of legacy formats. Today, he continues to specialise in converting cine film and home movies into high-quality digital formats, using professional-grade equipment and expertise to preserve treasured moments for future generations.

As the business evolved, Rich TV was launched to expand into corporate video production, including events, conferences, and commercial projects. This marked a significant step in broadening the company’s capabilities beyond private events.

Dave also brings a unique technical background from the aviation industry, having worked as both an engineer and a pilot. In 2018, he further enhanced the company’s capabilities by qualifying as a CAA-certified drone pilot (PfCO/OA), completing his training at Doncaster Airport with Hummingbird Helicopters. This enables Rich Media Group to offer professional aerial filming services.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the company adapted quickly by introducing live streaming services, supporting events and funerals at a time when remote connection was essential. This service has since expanded across multiple industries, becoming a core offering.

Building on this growth, Cheshire Live Stream was launched as a dedicated division, reflecting the company’s expanded capabilities and commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable streaming solutions.
